Resumen de Socialdemocracia y educación: Política educativa andaluza y la enseñanza privada durante la Gran Recesión de 2008

  Este trabajo analiza las acciones del gobierno de una comunidad autónoma -Andalucía- ante la reciente crisis económica en materia de enseñanza privada. Se usan los datos publicados a finales de noviembre de 2017 en la Encuesta de financiación y gastos de la enseñanza privada del INE. Las conclusiones aportan argumentos sobre cómo interviene un ejecutivo de ideología socialdemócrata (PSOE), en una fase de recortes presupuestarios ante la enseñanza privada, tanto la concertada como la no subvencionada. Todo ello en el contexto del sistema educacional más grande de España y tras una política educativa socialista ininterrumpida desde 1982. Se observa cómo este tipo de educación no ha perdido cuota de estudiantes con respecto al total en Andalucía y sus beneficios económicos siguen siendo muy semejantes a los percibidos con anterioridad a la crisis

  This paper analyzes the actions of the government of an autonomous community -Andalusia- in the face of the recent economic crisis in the field of private education. To this end, data published at the end of November 2017 in the Survey on Financing and Expenditures of Private Education of the INE are used. The conclusions provide arguments on how an executive of social democratic ideology (PSOE) intervenes in a phase of budget cuts to private education, both concerted and non-subsidized. All this in the context of the largest educational system in Spain and after an uninterrupted socialist educational policy since 1982. It is observed how this type of education has not lost student share with respect to the total in Andalusia and its economic benefits are still very similar to the ones before the crisis
