    El final del siglo XVIII constituyó la antesala dela consumación del Antiguo Régimen, y si en el transurso de la Edad MOderna las tiranteces entre las poblaciones rurales agrupadas en la Tierra segoviana y su cabeza jurisdiccional, la ciudad de Segovia, habían sido manifiestas, con la crisis finisecular alcanzaron tensiones prácticamente desconocidas hasta entonces. El objeto de este trabajo es analizar esos enfrentamientos entre los cuerpos institucionales que formaban la Comunidad de Ciudad y Tierra de Segovia, así como la perspectiva, comportamientos y respuestas por parte de los máximos representantes del mundo rural segoviano, sus procuradores generales.

    The end of Eighteen Century become the entrance hall of the commision of the Ancient Regime. Meanwhile the course of Modern Age, the tensions between the villages group together in Segovia's Tierra and the jurisdictional head, the city of Segovia, were obvious, but with the crisis of the end of the century reach tautness practically unknown until that moment. The goal of this work is to analyze those conflicts between the institution that constituted Ciudad y Tierra de Segovia's Community, the same as the perspective, behaviors and answers carry out by the highest political representative of the villages, their general officials.
