Resumen de Urban groundwater mapping techniques: importance on urban water cycle

• This work aims to present the importance of urban groundwater mapping techniques. In order to achieve that goal a GIS multi-technique approach, using hydroclimatology, geomorphology, hydrogeology, historical geography, hydrotoponymy and remote sensing, was performed to assess groundwater systems in urban areas of NW Portugal.
