Resumen de Cidadania em construção: a proposta do Pão dos Pobres

O presente artigo tem como objetivo verificar as principais concepções relativas à construção das dimensões de cidadão e cidadania desenvolvidos pelo Orfanotrófío Pão dos Pobres, na década de 20, através de análise do impresso da escola -Boletim Pão dos Pobres- bem como a sua relação com a realidade social da época, a fim de demonstrar como essas iniciativas procuravam atender às necessidades do novo contexto social emergente.

This article aims to verify the main conceptions related to the construction of the dimensions of citizen and citizenship, as developed by the Orphanage Pão dos Pobres (Bread of the Poor) in the 1920s. We carry out the search by analyzing the school's newsletter -Boletim Pão dos Pobres-, as well as by analizing the relationship of the newsletter with the social reality of its time, in order to demostrate how these initiatives sought to meet the needs of the new, emerging social context.
