  • The text analyzes the rural landscape as a synthesis of nature and culture, but also of historical processes of socio-territorial and economic changes. In particular, the text focuses on the relationship between agricultural modernization, rural development and social farming practices and their effects on the landscape. In the second part, it concentrates on how food is related to the landscape, influencing its representation.
