• Resumen

  • The article offers information on the placement and construction of speeches of Roman historian, Sallust, to highlight antitheses or urgency of action. The interest of Christian scholars in Sallust's interpretation of factional conflict and his scathing criticism of the decline of morality during the age of Sulla is mentioned. The admiration for the literary skills of Sallust is also cited.
