    Die folgende Einleitung konturiert zunächst die Begriffe, die leitend für die rahmende Thematik des Heftes sind: religiöse Autorschaft und Selbstlegitimation. Es zeigt sich, dass, trotz eines chronologisch zunehmenden Ablösungsprozesses, göttlich inspirierte Autorschaft als Konzept erhalten bleibt, aber der Aushandlung bedarf. Anhand dreier Beispiele aus verschiedenen Zeiteinschnitten (1200 – 1500 – 1800) klärt der einleitende Beitrag, welche Bedingungen und Ausprägungen religiöse Autorschaft haben kann.

    The following introduction first of all outlines the concepts which are guiding for the framing topic of the booklet: religious authorship and self-legitimation of the author as such. Despite a chronologically increasing process of separation, divinely inspired authorship remains a leading concept that requires negotiation by the author. Based on three examples from different time periods (1200 – 1500 – 1800) the introductory article explains the conditions and characteristics religious authorship does have.
