    Se revisa la repetida, generalizada y esotérica creencia que en las dimensiones de la Gran Pirámide de Egipto se encuentran cifrados dos números: ø (el número áureo) y π (la razón entre el perímetro y el diámetro de una circunferencia)

    In this article we review the repeated argument and belief that in the dimensions of the Great Pyramid of Egypt are ciphered two numbers,  (the golden number) and  (the ratio between the perimeter and the diameter of a circumference), in spite of the fact of that the golden ratio in Egypt was not mentioned anywhere, and the number  is not known as precisely as we nd it in the dimensions of the pyramid (Great Pyramid) of Khufu (Cheops).

    Whether that the planners of the construction of the pyramids knew these facts though not historically documented, or it is a question rather of pure coincidence? We will demonstrate that the random coincidence is much more probable than it seems at rst glance.
