The effect of whisky, wine and beer on the lipid metabolism was observed by the authors. The whisky and beer increased the plasma level of HDL-cholesterol and total cholesterol. respectively, while the wine decreased the levels of total triglycerides.
Os autores observaram o efeito que o uísque, o vinho e a cerveja exercem sobre o metabolismo dos lipídeos. O uisque e a cerveja aumentaram os niveis do HDL-colesterol e do colestorol total, respectivamente, enquanto o vinho diminuiu os nívels plasmáticos dos triglicerídeos totals.
