The essay deals with the critical success of the Bolognese poet Ludovico Savioli (Bologna, 1729- 1804), much appreciated by his contemporaries, especially for the songs of Amori, and thereafter almost completely forgotten. Are therefore remembered, analyzed and compared here the opinions that gradually turned out to important on the works of Savioli, also released by major academics.
