Resumen de Estudio antropológico de los restos de Sebastián Clavijo en la colegiata de San Patricio (Lorca, Murcia)

  El estudio antropológico realizado a los restos humanos hallados en la cripta del altar mayor de la colegiata de Lorca y los análisis de carbono-14 realizados sobre los mismos vienen a confirmar con bastante probabilidad que este enterramiento pertenece al primer abad de la colegiata, Sebastián Clavijo. La determinación de sexo, edad y estrés ocupacional resulta compatible con él, así como las fechas radio carbónicas obtenidas. Esta investigación, realizada en la misma cripta, ha permitido la conservación del cadáver tal y como se encontró. Su lápida y escudo, aunque desplazados en alguna reforma de su lugar original, los encontramos tras la mesa del altar, que hoy sabemos nos indica la entrada a su cripta.

  The anthropologic study realized to the human remains found in the crypt of the major altar of Lorca’s Collegiate church and the analyses of radiocarbon realized on the same ones come to confirm with enough probability that this burial belongs to the first abbot of the Collegiate church, Sebastian Clavijo. The determination of sex, age and occupational stress turns out to be compatible with him, as well as the radio carbon dates obtained. This investigation realized in the same crypt, has allowed the conservation of the corpse as he was. His tablet and shield, though displaced in some reform of his original place, we find them after the table of the altar, which today we know indicates us the entry to his crypt.
