  • Resumen
    • Angioedema is occasionally seen in emergency departments and can present with life-threatening symptoms. While allergic or anaphylactic angioedema is commonly treated with standard allergic reaction regimens, bradykinin-induced or angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) induced angioedema lacks proven treatment. We describe a case where both etiologies of angioedema could have contributed to the patient's angioedema, and where conventional therapies were minimally effective. This re-enforces that further research needs to be conducted for ACEI-induced angioedema
