Desde la primera fijación de una representación visual en las sociedades primitivas hasta la más actual transformación digital el artista ha usado la ciencia y la tecnología no solo para conocer el mundo, sino también para transformarlo y representarlo. No es nuevo o extraño para el arte y el artista conjugar su artisticidad con nuevas tecnologías o con la ciencia. El presente artículo realiza una aproximación a las relaciones entre el arte y las nuevas tecnologías, para después ejemplificar en el Archivo Jalón Ángel cómo la realidad aumentada puede conectarse con el patrimonio cultural.

From the first fixation of a visual representation in primitive societies to the current digital transformation artists have used science and technology not only to know the world, but also to transform and represent it. It is not new or strange for art and artists to combine creativity with new technologies or with science. This paper offers an approximation to the connections between art and new technologies, then it exemplifies through Jalón Ángel’s Archive how augmented reality can be connected with cultural heritage.
