Production performance during the quarter was stable and controlled, Lynas said, with ready-for-sale output volumes of 3,171 tonnes rare earths, in line with the company's guidance. It sold 2,691 tonnes rare earth oxides (REO) during the period but said that market pricing was "very low".
"With neodymium and praseodymium production stable, the production team has increased focus on quality of cerium and lanthanum products and made significant strides in improving quality output," Lynas said.
For the year ahead, Lynas plans to turn its attention to participants in the supply chain, working with them to grow total markets and "create a strong differentiated position for Lynas products."
