  • Resumen
    • According to the findings of IM 's updated " Natural Graphite Report - Strategic Outlook to 2020 ", the proliferation and frenzied pace of prospecting for graphite from Alaska to Australia has added more than 3.7bn tonnes to the global graphite resource base.

In the last four years, new terms and assumed pricing categories have emerged for graphite - including "jumbo flake" (used to describe flakes sizes of +35 mesh or larger), "lump/vein" and "hydrothermal", used to describe various deposit types - with explorers suggesting that these less common forms of graphite can command premium prices.

IM 's updated " Natural Graphite Report - Strategic Outlook to 2020 " is now available to purchase. For more information or to request a sample of the report please email sales@indmin.com or call +44 (0) 20 7779 8141. The trends outlined in the report will also be discussed at IM 's Graphite and Graphene Conference 2015 in London on 8-9 December.
