A educação superior e a perspectiva agroecológica: avanços e limites dos Núcleos de Agroecologia das IES no Brasil

    The present article presents reflections about the importance of the agro ecological study nucleus (NEAs) created by the Federal Government politics. On the analyzed context, the NEAs lean against, invariablement, on the familiar logics of production as protagonist of a new education, research and extension format. Based on a documental and theoretical revision, we observed that the proposal, to creation of the nucleus, brings as an innovation, principles for a collective construction of agro ecological knowledgement, or, socially elaborated and considering the multiple dimensions of the regional development. For the creation of these NEAs in all national territory, the active involvement of the most diverse social actors and of the IEs, it was necessary, to possibilate a new epistemological perspective where the popular knowledge earns on the recognizement and contributes on the search of resolutions of the local social and productive demands. It’s valid to salient that for these collective background new institutional scenarios came up. The proper creation of new IEs, especially on regions more distant of the great urban centers, showed a major sensibility on the incorporation of local demands of the civil society. Moreover, with limits well limited of this public initiative, in minor of one decade, this action are proportionating an effective regional and national articulation of new formats of IEs, transforming the NEAs references on the debate all around the strategic themes linked to the agro ecological perspective.

    O presente artigo trás reflexões sobre a importância dos Núcleos de Estudos Agroecológicos (NEAs) criados via políticas do Governo Federal. No contexto analisado, os NEAs se apoiam, invariavelmente, nas lógicas familiares de produção como protagonistas de um novo formato de ensino, pesquisa e extensão. Baseado em uma revisão documental e teórica, observou-se que a proposta de criação dos núcleos trás como inovação, princípios para a construção coletiva de conhecimentos agroecológicos, ou seja, socialmente elaborados e considerando as múltiplas dimensões do desenvolvimento regional. Para a criação desses NEAS em todo o território nacional, fez-se necessário o envolvimento ativo dos mais diversos atores sociais e as IES, possibilitando uma nova perspectiva epistemológica, onde o saber popular ganha em reconhecimento e contribui na busca de resoluções de demandas sociais locais, sejam elas produtivas, educacionais, ecológicas, tecnológicas etc. Vale salientar que por meio desses ambientes coletivos, novos cenários Institucionais surgiram. A própria criação de novas IES, especialmente nas regiões mais distantes dos grandes centros urbanos, mostrou uma maior sensibilidade na incorporação de demandas locais da sociedade civil. E, mesmo com limites bem marcados dessa iniciativa pública, em menos de uma década essa ação vem proporcionando uma efetiva articulação regional e nacional de novos formatos de IES, tornando os NEAs referências no debate em torno de temas estratégicos ligados a perspectiva agroecológica.
