  El artículo reflexiona sobre los orígenes de la fachada del Teatro Español y su posible evolución, Lo hace a partir de un dibujo bastante poco atendido hasta el momento. Está firmado por el arquitecto Juan Bautista Saqueti en 1744 y se titula "Fachada del Theatro àla Calle del Príncipe". Se analiza su contenido y se relaciona con el estado actual y con otros testimonios disponibles. Al tiempo, se utiliza además el Dibujo de Arquitectura como instrumento para la confirmación de argumentos, para la búsqueda de respuestas y para la expresión de conclusiones.

  The article think about the origins of the facade of the Teatro Español and its possible evolution. It does so from a drawing that has not been dealt with so far. It is signed by the architect Juan Bautista Saqueti in 1744 and is titled "Fachada del Theatro àla Calle del Principe". It analyzes its content and related to the current status and other available testimonials. At the same time, the Architecture Drawing is used as an instrument for the confirmation of arguments, for the search for answers and for the expression of conclusions.
