Resumen de Fundamentos conceptuales de la biología de la cultura
Conceptual foundations of culture as a biological phenomenonIn this study, I will develop the theoretical foundations for a conceptual unification of all the fields involved in the understanding of culture as a biological phenomenon. First, I will offer a general model for all types of cultural exchange, located at a purely behavioral level. After that, I will define “human culture” using this model, taking into account the specific neurological features of Homo sapiens. This definition is based on the conceptual framework of internist memetics and on some current developments in neuroscience, among which the so-called “concept neurons” stand out.
