  En este artículo se examina y analiza la labor de un docente de Lengua Castellana y Literatura que emplea las redes sociales al servicio del aprendizaje de alumnos de Educación Secundaria; es decir, que emplea herramientas propias de la realidad diaria de los estudiantes. Las conclusiones de este trabajo analizan tanto las debilidades como las oportunidades de estos recursos tecnológicos y ponen de manifiesto la necesidad de un mayor compromiso por parte de los docentes para mejorar la educación y la competencia digital de los alumnos.Palabras clave: redes sociales, tic, secundaria, entornos de aprendizaje virtuales

  This article examines and analyzes the work of a teacher of Spanish Language and Literature that uses social networks to serve the learning of high school students; That is to say, that it uses tools of the daily reality of the students. The conclusions of this work analyze both the weaknesses and the opportunities of these technological resources and show the necessity of a greater commitment on the part of the teachers to improve the education and the digital competence of the students.
