For sludying the effecl of proloveratryne added to the alimentation of several Granada's goats in a Summer termical stress the used technique was based on milk production theree different, is totally housed. The base diets were of 650 grs. of vetch and bean 502 kgs strau. The alcaoid dosis was added ir three levels (5, 7 and 19 mgs.) per animal and day.
We carne to the conclusions, that protoveratryne at dosis of 10 mgs. per day is very significant to prevent the low (or disminution) milk production as consequence of the high summer temperatures. This effect is on both, milk production and lat matter in it
