La tauromaquia como valor cultural y medioambiental. Una aproximación comparada

    El acoso de los antitaurinos fuertemente organizado en España y otros países europeos ha saltado a la América taurina española. Se ha globalizado. En Francia y España a pesar de los ataques se ha acudido al derecho y se ha trasladado la regulación jurídica de la tauromaquia desde el orden público a un tema de patrimonio cultural inmaterial, con legislación especial al efecto. Su fundamento el derecho de las minorías. Pendiente este salto cualitativo en la América taurina española.

    Se está usando como argumento antitaurino el tema del impacto sobre el medio ambiente. Aducimos que esa afirmación no es cierta, con apoyo en opiniones de especialistas ambientalistas, juristas y filósofos. Se analiza una reciente decisión judicial en Venezuela sobre el tema.

    The harassment of anti-bulls heavily organized in Spain and other European countries has jumped to Spanish bullfighting America. It has become globalized. In France and Spain, in spite of the attacks, the legal regulation of bullfighting has been moved from the public order to an intangible cultural heritage subject, with special legislation to that effect. Its foundation the right of minorities. Pending this qualitative leap in Spanish bullfighting America.

    The issue of impact on the environment is being used as an anti-bullfighting argument. We assert that this statement is not true, with support in the opinions of environmental specialists, jurists and philosophers. We analyze a recent judicial decision in Venezuela on the subject.
