    The representation of information is one of the most important areas of librarianship, considering that the professionals who work directly with the latter need to master the process of analysis and synthesis in the reading of a document, aiming to meet the information needs of users when they seek the information they need in a unit of information, whether physical or virtual it in order to retrieve them effectively and in the shortest time possible. From this perspective, and considering that comics are forms of information rep-resentation within a imagetic-textual context, this paper presents the general objective: 1) the analysis of the librarian representation in the universe of com-ics, from the reading of Blog Bibliocomics. Constitute specific objectives: 2) address the representation of information in the context of Librarianship as well as in the world of comics; 3) characterize the comics and his contributions to the Library area, regarding the disclosure of this area and 4) discuss whether the images are consistent with the real aspects of the librarian. Regarding the methodology, regarding the objectives, procedures and approach to the problem, it is a descriptive, bibliographical and qualitative, their mind-where nine comics were analyzed. As a result, we find that the comic analyzed are able to disclose characteristics of the librarian, outlining cultural and social aspects of this professional, aspects that can be positive and negative, in a comical and reflective perspective on reading and interpretation.

    A representação da informação é uma das áreas mais importantes da Biblioteconomia, tendo em vista que os profissionais que trabalham diretamente com esta última precisam dominar os processos de análise e síntese na leitura de um determinado documento, visando sempre atender as necessidades informacionais dos usuários, quando estes buscam a informação que necessitam em uma unidade de informação, seja ela física ou virtual, de modo a recuperá-las com eficácia e no menor tempo possível. Dentro desta perspectiva e considerando que os quadrinhos são formas de representação da informação dentro de um contexto imagético-textual, o presente trabalho apresenta como objetivo geral: 1) a análise da representação do bibliotecário no universo das histórias em quadrinhos, a partir da leitura do Blog Bibliocomics. Constituem-se objetivos específicos: 2) abordar a representação da informação no contexto da Biblio-teconomia, bem como no universo dos quadrinhos; 3) caracterizar as histórias em quadrinhos e suas contri-buições para a área de Biblioteconomia, no que con-cerne a divulgação desta área e 4) discutir se as imagens condizem com os aspectos reais do profissional bibliotecário. Quanto à metodologia, no que concerne aos objetivos, procedimentos e abordagem do problema, trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, bibliográfica e qualitativa, respectivamente, onde foram analisados nove quadrinhos. Como resultados, constatamos que os quadrinhos analisados são capazes de divulgar características inerentes ao bibliotecário, delineando aspectos culturais e sociais deste profissional, aspectos estes que podem ser positivos e negativos, sob uma perspectiva cômica e reflexiva na leitura e interpretação dos mesmos.
