    A ‘autoria’ permeia diversas áreas do conhecimento e pode ser abordada a partir de diferentes olhares. Neste trabalho ela está relacionada diretamente à Filosofia e à Organização do Conhecimento. Como a ‘autoria’ é um elemento corrente no registro bibliográfico, estudos integrando questões filosóficas, conceituais e culturais à Representação Documentária per-mitiriam uma reflexão mais crítica sobre o desdobramento do uso da autoria nas práticas informacionais. O objetivo geral do trabalho é compreender a perspectiva da autoria a partir da noção de ‘nome próprio’, tendo como inflexão a discussão filosófica que se debruça sobre essa análise e questões sociais inherentes ao conceito. Trata-se de uma investigação exploratória e teórica, pautada nas pesquisas bibliográfica e documental, composta de dois movimentos: o primeiro, visa compreender a crítica filosófica à noção de ‘nome próprio’; o segundo, procura discutir a noção no contexto de sua formulação na filosofia da Organização e Representação do Conhecimento. A partir de uma crítica panorâmica sobre a discussão filosófica em torno do ‘nome próprio’, pontuamos a emergência do debate no contexto contemporâneo, como o caso dos filósofos do século XX, como Wittgenstein, Barthes e Foucault. Percebe-se que, apesar das mudanças advindas da Modernidade, o ‘autor’ no registro bibliográfico pressupõe ainda hoje o sentido de ‘nome próprio’, pois este personaliza e organiza o conhecimento através da construção de pontos de acessos padronizados.

    The 'authorship' is investigated in many knowledge areas and can be approached from different perspec-tives. In this work it is directly related to philosophy and knowledge organization. As the 'authorship' is a recurring element in the bibliographic records, studies integrating philosophical, conceptual and cultural questions in documentary representation allow a more critical reflection on the deployment of the use of authoring in informational practices. The overall goal is to understand the perspective of authorship from the notion of 'own name', with the inflection philosophical discussion that focuses on this analysis. This is an exploratory and theoretical research, based on bibliographical and documental research, consist-ing of two steps: the first, aims to understand the philosophical critique of the notion of 'first name'; the second, discusses the notion in the context of its formulation in the philosophy of the knowledge organization. From a panoramic critique of the philosophical debate around the 'own name', we pointed out the emergence of debate in the contemporary context, as the case of twentieth-century philosophers such as Wittgenstein, Barthes and Foucault. We recognize that, despite the changes arising from Modernity, the 'author' in the bibliographic records today still as-sumes the meaning of 'own name', because it per-sonalizes and organizes the knowledge by building standardized access points.
