    A linguagem é uma expressão do conhecimento pela qual podemos estabelecer diálogos nos mais variados contextos. Entendemos o conceito de linguagem a partir da Semiótica da Cultura, teoria russa que estuda a linguagem entre outros sistemas de signos. A linguagem é um fenômeno articulador que condiciona relações transculturais e no âmbito das abordagens socioculturais da Organização do Conhecimento, como núcleo de investigações que ressaltam discussões com a necessidade de compreender a cultura e o contexto das comunidades discussivas, a linguagem pode favorecer a projeção de novos conhecimentos. Desse núcleo destacamos Antônio Garcia Gutiérrez, Clare Beghtol e Michéle Hudon. Na Semiótica da Cultura destacamos Yuri M. Lotman, Irene Machado, Schnaiderman. Assim, investigamos os conceitos das abordagens socioculturais da Organização do Conhecimento por uma perspectiva teórico-conceitual da Semiótica da Cultura. Como resultado encontramos as relações teóricas entre os conceitos cultura, linguagem, texto, contexto, tradução e sistemas modelizantes e os conceitos fundamentais à organização do conhecimento: transculturalismo, ética transcultural, garantia cultural, hospitalidade e multilinguismo. Concluimos que os conceitos investigados com base na Semiótica da Cultura revelam à Organização do Conhecimento relações interdiscipli-nares no âmbito das abordagens socioculturais.

    Language is an expression of knowledge in which we can establish dialogues in several contexts. The concept of language is this study understood from the Semiotics of Culture, a Russian theory that studies the language and other sign systems. Language is an articulating phenomenon that determines cross cultural relations and in the context of socio-cultural approaches to Knowledge Organization, as nucleus of research that highlight discussions with the necessity of understanding the culture and the context of discussive communities, the language can promote the projection of new knowledge. From that nucleous we highlight Antonio García Gutiérrez, Clare Beghtol and Michéle Hudon. In Semiotics of Culture we highlight Yuri M. Lotman, Irene Machado, Schnaiderman. Thus, we investigated the concepts of sociocultural approaches in Knowledge Organization by a theoretical and conceptual perspective of Semiotics of Culture. As a result we find the theoretical relationships between the concepts culture, language, text, context, translation and modeling systems and the key concepts of knowledge organization: transculturalism, transcultural ethics, cultural guarantee, hospitality and multilingualism. We conclude that the concepts inves-tigated based on the Cultural Semiotics reveal the Organization of Knowledge interdisciplinary relation-ship in socio-cultural approaches.
