Resumen de Puentes significativos del movimiento moderno en Matanzas

  La presente investigación se propone catalogar, en un primer intento, y en documento único, aspectos relacionados con el Movimiento Moderno para la ingeniería de puentes en la provincia de Matanzas. Basaremos este estudio, principalmente, en las redes viales de interés nacional para este territorio: Circuitos Norte y Sur y la Autopista Nacional. Se realizó la inspección visual para determinar el estado arquitectónico de dichos puentes. Hasta la fecha no existen antecedentes de este tipo de estudio para obras de ingeniería, que puedan ser incluidas dentro del inventario de obras del Movimiento Moderno en Cuba, solo ha sido completado para obras de arquitectura. Como resultado de esta investigación se presentarán las fichas de cada puente seleccionado, en total serán siete, que representan los ejemplos de mayor significación. Así quedará conformado el catálogo. A su vez se presentan las razones que determinaron la selección de estas obras, a fin de que puedan, formar parte del valioso inventario registrado por DOCOMOMO-Cuba para el patrimonio construido, debidas a este movimiento, representadas en construcciones que, para este caso (puentes), datan de los años comprendidos entre 1940-1970.

  Sustentada en una minuciosa y profunda búsqueda histórico-documental, esta investigación pretende ir más allá de demostrar la gran importancia que tiene el estudio del Movimiento Moderno en el campo de la ingeniería de puentes del país. Consideramos que es un aporte matancero al reconocimiento de estas grandes obras, dentro de la historia de la ingeniería civil para la provincia de Matanzas y Cuba.

  The present investigation intends to catalog, in a first attempt, and in a unique document, aspects related with the Modern Motion for the engineering of bridges in the province of Matanzas. We will base this study, principally, in the highway systems of national matters for this territory: North and Southern Circuits and the National Highway. A visual inspection to determine the architectonic state of the aforementioned bridges was made. Till this date there are not suchlike backgrounds of study for works of engineering, that they can be included within the inventory of works of the Modern Motion in Cuba, only it has been completed for architectural works. As a result of this investigation the chips of every selected bridge will show up, in total they will be seven, that they represent the examples of bigger meaning. That way the catalog will get shaped.

  In turn reasons show up that they determined the selection of these works, so that they can, being a part of the valuable inventory registered by DOCOMOMO-Cuba for the patrimony constructed, due to this motion, represented in constructions that, for this case (bridges), a date between 1940-1970. Held in a thorough and deep search historic documentary, this investigation is intended to surpass demonstrate the great importance that has the Modern study of motion in the field of the engineering of bridges of the country. We consider this is contribution of people from Matanzas to the recognition of these great works, inside the history of the civil engineering for the province of Matanzas and Cuba.
