No presente estudo se examinam as artérias fundamentais que consolidaram a noção de texto como problema semiótico da cultura, a saber: tradução, modelização e espaço semiótico da semiosfera. Toma-se como hipótese a noção lotmaniana da espaço semiótico como a articulação fundamental responsável pela dinâmica dos sistemas culturais, o que libera a noção de espaço dos limites estabelecidos pelos lugares e continências. Para isso, são examinados textos da cultura cuja dinâmica de modelização do espaço se reporta a tradições culturais nem sempre em evidência no ocidente.

In this study we examine the key articulations that consolidated the notion of text as a semiotic problem of culture, namely translation, modeling, and the semiotic space of the semiosphere. The main hypothesis is concerned on Lotman's assumption of the semiotic space as an important interconection between cultural systems outside the notion of space as limit and place for things. Cultural texts are examined and taken according the dynamic modeling of the space refering to cultural traditions not always in evidence in the West.
