    This article discusses the relationship between greed and structural sin.  It points out questions of power that affect every aspect of life, individual, family, economic, and social.  Specifically, the discussion focuses on questions related to faith, liberation, and justice.  Biblical interpretations of justice are discussed as the basis for an adequate response to the relationship between greed, strucutral sin, and suffering.

    Este ensaio discute a relação entre cobiça e pecado estrutural.  Estão destacadas questões relacionadas ao poder e seus efeitos em todos aspectos da vida:  individual, familiar, econômico e social.  Especificamente, a discussão destaca questões relacionadas à fé, libertação e justiça.  Interpretações bíblicas de justiça estão discutidas como base de resposta adequada à relação entre cobiça, pecado estrutural e sofrimento.
