Resumen de El mundo del trabajo y la revista Criterio, un vínculo conflictivo (1966-1979).

  En el siguiente trabajo indagamos la configuración discursiva de la revista Criterio sobre el mundo del trabajo durante la segunda mitad de la década de 1960. Los cambios producidos en el seno del catolicismo no fueron asimiladosde manera uniforme por todo el espectro eclesiástico y laico. En general, los análisis que abordan las relaciones entre el mundo del trabajo y el catolicismo en dicho periodo han estudiado a los sectores más radicalizados. Criterio, en contraste, se presenta como representante de un catolicismo moderado. La publicación indica fuertemente la necesidad de articular los intereses y de moderar los espíritus en pos de un proceso que recién se desplegaba, la Revolución Argentina. En concreto, Criterio no se dirigía a los trabajadores o a los sindicatos, sino claramente a las cumbres institucionales de la clase empresarial. En efecto, la publicación delineaba un paternalismo empresario de corte modernizante.

  In this paper we inquire into the discursive configuration of Criterio catholic magazine about the realm of work during the second half of the 1960s. The changes within Catholicism were not uniformly assimilated through all ecclesiastical and secular spectrums.

  In general, the previous analyses that have addressed the relationship between the realm of work and Catholicism in this period have usually studied the most radical scopes. Criterio, in contrast, is presented as representative of a moderate Catholicism.

  The publication strongly indicates the need to articulate interests and moderate spirits after a process that was just unfolding, the Argentinean Revolution. Specifically, Criterio was not addressed at workers or unions, but at the institutional summits of the business class. Indeed, the publication depicted an entrepreneurial paternalism with some modernizing aspects.
