    The establishment near Fort Worth of an new airport dedicated solely to freight has fostered the creation of a large Federal Express sorting hub and adjoining multimodal transportation facilities have allowed the development of many warehouses for national and international redistribution. A new Intel microchip manufacturing plant could be the seed of a new technopole and should allow a better balance in the geographical distribution of growth in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

    La localisation près de Fort Worth d'un aéroport réservé au fret a suscité la création d'un grand centre de tri de Federal Express et les installations de transport multimodales y ont permis le développement d'entrepôts de distribution à l'échelle nationale et internationale. Le projet d'usine de microprocesseurs Intel à proximité immediate d'Alliance Airport pourrait être le noyau d'un technopôle et devrait permettre un réequilibrage de l'aire métropolitaine de Dallas-Forth Worth.
