    La representación de la ritualidad del pueblo troyano en Eneida cobra importancia en la construcción que hace el poeta de la identidad romana, no sólo por el interés marcado en describir en detalle las prácticas que señalan la relación de la etnia con la esfera divina, sino también porque dicha ejecución manifiesta una diferenciación en el desenvolvimiento de las otras etnias descriptas. Asimismo, la realización del rito establece diferentes relaciones dentro del grupo humano a la vez que legitima funciones de autoridad y cumple una función específica dentro de la trama de la obra. Para ejemplificar tal afirmación, en el presente estudio se analiza la acción ritual de los troyanos, en particular, el culto a los muertos.

    The representation of the rituality of the Trojan people in Aeneid becomes important in the construction that the poet makes of the Roman identity, not only because of the poet’s interest in describing in detail the practices that indicate the relationship of the Trojan people with the divine sphere, but also because this execution shows a differentiation in the development of the other races described. In addition, the performance of the rite establishes different relationships within the human group while it legitimates the authority and it has a specific function in the plot of the work. To illustrate such affirmation, in this study, we analyze the ritual action of the Trojans, in particular the cult of the dead.
