    "Para saber de ello visitó tres lugares, donde fue recibido con la generosa hospitalidad de los lugareños, con los que pasó muchas horas de conversación amena, escuchando sus relatos, atentamente, porque quería aprender. Le mostraron sus fotos y lo invitaron a sus casas, y supo más de ellos. Luego, hubo de detenerse porque era tiempo de escribir su propio relato, antes de que otras rutas o las de siempre lo absorbieran y lo aprendido quedara en el recuerdo. Quiso preservar el viaje del olvido". Su nuevo relato surgió del análisis de aquellos relatos, de la mirada cuidadosa, respetuosa de sus casas, de sus clases, y también de sus fotos, de sus planes de curso. Aparecieron, entonces, conclusiones que cerraron su propio texto. Aunque no fueron clausura, porque otros viajes emergieron de éste.

    In order to get to know the subject, he visited three places where he was greeted with the locals’ great hospitality. Long time did he spend chatting in entertaining conversation, listening carefully to their stories, for he wanted to learn. He was shown their pictures, and was invited to their homes, and thus he knew more about them. Later he stopped for he had to devote time to write down his own narration before the stories of other paths or of the usual ones would absorb him and what he had learned remained only in memory. It was necessary to save the journey from oblivion.

    His new narration arose from the analysis of those stories, from a careful and respectful observation of their houses, of their classes, and also of their pictures, of their plans of study.

    Then, conclusions were drawn, which helped finishing his own text although that did not mean an end, for other journeys arose from this one.
