    This paper discusses the congruence between hacker culture and education, with a view to establishing an ecosystem of empowerment. We started of the understanding of education from an emancipatory approach, with a look at social inequalities. We reflect about fundamental aspects of the hacker culture, exposing the essential pillars of its ethics. We share experiences, looks and ways about a hacker education, from studies and initiatives related to the subject in the last five years. Finally, we propose that a greater articulation between initiatives should take place, not with the aim of creating models or standardizations, but enriching the debate about the subject by sharing experiences that can contribute to society as a whole, after all, it is highlighting the strong potential of hacker education in establishing an ecosystem of personal, community and technological empowerment.

    Este trabalho discute a congruência entre cultura hacker e educação, com olhares para o estabelecimento de um ecossistema de empoderamento. Parte da compreensão de educação a partir de uma abordagem emancipadora, com olhar para as desigualdades sociais. Reflete sobre aspectos fundamentais da cultura hacker, expondo os pilares essenciais de sua ética. Partilha experiências, olhares e caminhos sobre uma educação hacker, a partir de estudos e iniciativas relacionadas ao tema nos últimos cinco anos. Propõe ao final que uma maior articulação entre as iniciativas ocorra, não com o intuito de criar modelos ou padronizações, mas sim, de enriquecer o debate acerca do tema através da partilha de experiências que possam contribuir para a sociedade como um todo, afinal, é destacável o forte potencial da educação hacker no estabelecimento de um ecossistema de empoderamento pessoal, comunitário e tecnológico.
