Resumen de Ideas sobre cambio climático y consumo energético en estudiantes de Ingeniería de la UNEXPO-LCM

  El cambio climático se ha convertido en el principal problema ambiental planetario. Dentro de las estrategias de adaptación a esta situación global se cuenta la educación para un consumo energético responsable en los distintos ámbitos escolarizados. El objetivo de esta investigación fue conocer las ideas que tienen los estudiantes del curso Química de la UNEXPO-LCM sobre el cambio climático y el consumo energético, a fin de derivar orientaciones educativas. El trabajo es una investigación de campo enmarcada en el paradigma cualitativo. Se entrevistaron ocho estudiantes de química del semestre 2012-I de la UNEXPO-LCM. Los resultados indican que la poca información sobre el cambio climático del grupo en estudio se basaba en vivencias de su entorno, desconociendo su relación con el consumo energético, en especial el vinculado al transporte.

  De este diagnóstico se propone la incorporación de una unidad didáctica sobre el tema.

  The climate change is the most important environmental problem actually. Between the adaptation strategies to reduce its effect, one of the most important is the education for responsible energy consumption in the different educative levels. The aim of this study was to know the ideas about climatic change and energy consumption of UNEXPO-LCM chemistry students. The work is a field investigation supported in the qualitative paradigm. The study group was formed by eight chemistry students, of 2012-I course, which was interviewed on this matter. It was founded that they have few information about climatic change, based on their own environmental experiences not knowing its relationship with energy consumption, especially in transport sector. Based on diagnose results, it was proposed the incorporation of a didactic unit about such topics.
