  In this essay the author tries to aprehend the mechanism of the process of intertextuality, by considering it a dynamic and enriching act of (re)creation of the literary text. The author illustrater her proposal with a series of examples trying to reveal the nature and the technique of the inter-relationship between the texts used along the work, to emphasize the reach of the new dimension of the reading critic resulting from the true intertextuality at last, the essayist relates, by way of confrontation, the characterization of intertex­tuality and plagiarism.

  Neste ensaio, a autora busca apreender o mecanismo do processo da intertextualidade, con­siderando-a como ato dinâmico e enriquecedor de (re)criação do texto literário. Exemplifica sua proposta com uma série de ilustrações em que pro­cura relevar a natureza e a técnica do interrelacionamento dos textos usados no correr da monta­gem, realçando o alcance da nova dimensão de leitura-crítica que decorre da verdadeira intertextua­lidade. Finalmente, a ensaísta relaciona, para fins de confronto, a caracterização de intertextualidade e de plágio.
