    La actividad científico-investigativa constituye una de las vías para optimizar el proceso pedagógico; sin embargo, los docentes en su función de investigadores y los propios tutores manifiestan insuficiencias teóricas al concebir la actividad científico-investigativa. Por tal razón, este artículo ofrece un conjunto de elementos teóricos que caracterizan el ENFOQUE INVESTIGATIVO INTEGRAL, que se utiliza para investigar y así resolver los problemas educativos del modelo cubano actual. La fundamentación teórica que se brinda es producto de una sistematización de las concepciones teóricas que alrededor del tema manejan destacados especialistas cubanos.

    This article constitutes one of the ways to promote an effective pedagogical process. However, teachers in the role of researchers and tutors have not enough theoretical basis to conceive the scientific activity. That is why the present article offers a set of theoretical elements that characterizes the so called ENTIRE RESEARCH A PPROACH, used to research and solve the current Cuban Educational System shortcomings. The theoretical bases given takes into account the studies carried out by outstanding Cuban specialists on Methodology of Educational Research.
