La preparación de los jefes de departamentos para la dirección del trabajo metodológico en la Educación Técnica y Profesional

    El trabajo aborda el proceso de preparación de los jefes de departamentos docentes en la Educación Técnica y Profesional. Los resultados del diagnóstico realizado revelaron insuficiencias que no permite lograr una incidencia positiva en la formación de los subordinados y los estudiantes para incorporarse al mundo laboral. Para el desarrollo del trabajo se emplearon los métodos sistémico estructural, análisis y síntesis, , la encuesta, la entrevista, la observación y técnicas estadísticas, que permitieron elaborar una estrategia de preparación para los jefes de departamento.  Para comprobar la efectividad de la estrategia se trabajó con 12 jefes de departamentos docentes de los centros politécnicos del municipio de La Palma. La valoración de los resultados evidencia avances en la preparación de estos directivos y en su desempeño profesional con docentes y especialistas acorde a las exigencias actuales de la Educación Técnica y Profesional.

    The present work deals with the process of preparation of the heads of teaching departments for the direction of methodological work in Technical and Professional Education with the purpose of improving their professional performance with the collective of teachers and specialists in the continuous training of the worker. The results of the diagnosis made on this process revealed shortcomings because it is unsystematic and poorly contextualized, which does not allow to achieve a positive impact on the training of subordinates and students to join the world of work. For the development of the work we used the structural systemic methods, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, survey, interview, observation and statistical techniques such as percentage calculation, tables of frequencies and contingencies, which allowed to deepen the object of study and to elaborate a strategy of preparation for the heads of department like main result that is presented in this work. In order to verify the practical effectiveness of the proposed strategy, 12 heads of teaching departments of the polytechnic centers of the municipality of La Palma for the academic year 2014-2015 were studied and 5 managers, 69 teachers and 18 specialists of production and services. The evaluation of the results evidences advances in the preparation of the heads of departments and in their professional performance with teachers and specialist, according to the current requirements of the technical and professional continuing education of the worker in formation.
