    El presente artículo les brinda de manera sintética los resultados alcanzados en una investigación  dirigida al desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa de la expresión oral en inglés para preuniversitario a través de la realización de softareas, lo cual implica un mayor  y eficiente uso de la nueva tecnología que la revolución  cubana ha puesto a disposición del sistema educacional  en aras de elevar la calidad del aprendizaje y la cultura general integral.

    The current article presents the reached results of a research related to the development of the communicative competence of speaking in English for high school students through the applications of softasks. This implies a higher and more efficient use of the new technologies the cuban revolution has applied in the educational system in order to improve the quality of learning and the level of culture.
