    En este artículo se presentan las principales insuficiencias que provocan un bajo aprovechamiento de los estudiantes en la actividad de solución de ejercicios con cálculos en el nivel de Secundaria Básica del municipio de Pinar del Río, temática esta que se considera trascendental en lo que respecta a la enseñanza-aprendizaje de las ciencias.
