    En el presente artículo se presentan referentes teórico-metodológicos que han caracterizado el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la lengua inglesa en la Secundaria Básica. Se hace referencia a los antecedentes históricos y las tendencias actuales que se relacionan con el tema desde la perspectiva de los autores.

    In the present article it is presented theoretical-methodological foundations that have characterized the teaching-learning process of the English language in the Secondary School. It is made refererence to the historical antecedents and the current trends that relate to the topic from the author´s perspective.
