    Desde el punto de vista del turismo de crucero, la región Macaronesia, que engloba a las islas atlánticas europeas, se asimila al Mediterráneo. Esta es la razón de haber escogido Tenerife como sede de la última feria Seatrade Cruise Med. El sector se encuentra en un momento de plenitud y, mientras hace balance de la excelente temporada estival, mantiene ocupados los astilleros de medio mundo. Las Islas Canarias quieren aprovechar este impulso y busca nuevas oportunidades, como nuevos enlaces aéreos y la futura oferta de GNL en sus puertos.

    At the start of the winter campaign TENERIFE, WORLD CRUISE CAPITAL Summary: From the point of view of cruise tourism, the Macaronesia region which includes the European Atlantic islands is considered part of the Mediterranean region. This is why Tenerife was chosen as the venue for the last Seatrade Cruise Med fair. These are times of plenty for the cruise sector as it looks back to an excellent summer season, it is also keeping a great number of shipyards busy around the world. The Canary Islands are hoping to take advantage of this momentum and are looking for new opportunities to set up new air links or future LNG supplies for their ports.
