  • Resumen
    • The aim of this paper is to analyse the roles that Harrison Ford has played in the romantic comedies in which he has starred, although special emphasis has been placed on Six Days and Seven Nights. This analysis has been carried out taking into account his star persona, modelled throughout the past two decades via his film performances or appearances in any other media. The conclusion to be drawn is that, despite the ironic content of these comedies, there exists a high degree of continuity among the different roles he has played, which has contributed to establishing the “Harrison Ford patent” as an honest, brave yet vulnerable action hero.
