Se ofrece aquí una visión panorámica de los estudios que, a lo largo de treinta y cinco años (1977-2012), el autor ha publicado sobre teoría de los «derechos humanos». Esos exámenes son de carácter esencialmente desmitificador, apuntan en dirección nítidamente contrapuesta a cómo se efectúan los planteamientos doctrinarios habituales en la materia. Señaladamente se trata de des-velar unas básicas vaguedades retóricas («celestialidades») que desempeñan papel fundamental en la enseñanza impartida al respecto en las Facultades de Derecho, como asimismo en los discursos utilizados por los operadores oficiales del Derecho Constitucional o del Derecho Internacional. Mas dichos exámenes contienen también –sobre todo el Tratado básico de derechos humanos– variadas pistas heurísticas para orientar de maneras no solo menos retóricas, sino también con posible mayor eficacia práctica de protección efectiva a esos derechos, los discursos jurídicos eventualmente aplicables para regular las convivencias humanas en función de tales pautas, si hubiere operadores dispuestos a hacerlo así

A compendium of scarcely complaisant comments, especially in regard to certain comfortable ways of speaking a lot and to saying almost nothing. In this paper, a panoramic overview is presented of the studies that, along the last thirty five years (1977-2012), the author has published about the Theory of ‘Human Rights’. These examinations are essentially of a demythologizing character— quite different indeed from the way in which the habitual doctrinaire approaches are carried out on this matter. Specifically, they aim to uncover some basic rhetorical vagueness (‘celestial’ speeches) that play a main role for teaching this matter in the faculties of law, as well as in the discourses used by the official operators of constitutional or international law. Furthermore, those studies contain also—especially the Tratado básico de derechos humanos—a set of various heuristic guidelines in order to achieve the utmost possible practical protection for these rights; i.e. to face them in ways which are not only of a much less rhetorical art, but even able to be appreciably more efficient in regulating human relationships according to such rights (provided that judges and other legal operators would be willing to follow these guides)
