Resumen de El 'Refranyer Aguiló': de la paraula documentada a la paraula digital

  El Refranyer Aguiló és la col·lecció de parèmies que Marià Aguiló i Fuster va recollir al llarg de la seva vida en diversos indrets de tot el domini lingüístic català o que va obtenir de diferents personalitats destacades. Després de la mort d’Aguiló, el seu fill Àngel lliurà cap a l’any 1920 l’aplec de materials a Rafael Patxot i Jubert, atesa la relació que havien tingut arran de l’Obra del Cançoner Popular de Catalunya. Durant la Guerra Civil, una part dels materials es quedà a Barcelona i la major part (que eren en unes carpetetes) es traslladà a Suïssa. Tothom pensava que aquests materials s’havien perdut, però, afortunadament, l’any 2008 van reaparèixer a Suïssa embolicats entre papers de diaris catalans i francesos. Els hereus de Rafael Patxot i Jubert els van fer arribar a l’Abadia de Montserrat i el pare Josep Massot i Muntaner en féu el catàleg, d’acord amb l’ordre alfabètic de les carpetes, que en són més de dues mil. Tot seguit, el Centre de Cultura Popular i Tradicional de la Generalitat de Catalunya va digitalitzar les més de 40.000 fitxes. Gràcies a un acord entre l’Abadia de Montserrat i la Secció Filològica de l’Institut d’Estudis Catalans, actualment estem estudiant i transcrivint aquests materials amb la intenció de publicar-los a Internet. L’objectiu d’aquesta comunicació és donar compte de l’estat del projecte, així com d’explicar la metodologia aplicada i mostrar, en primícia, el funcionament del Refranyer Aguiló.

  The “Refranyer Aguiló” (Aguiló Proverbs) is the collection of sayings that Marià Aguiló Fuster collected during his lifetime in various locations throughout the Catalan language domain. They were also obtained from different kinds of people. After Aguiló’s death, his son Àngel delivered the collection of materials to Rafael Patxot Jubert in 1920, because of the relationship they had had as a result of working on the Cançoner Popular de Catalunya. During the Civil War, some of the materials remained in Barcelona and most of them (which were in small folders) moved to Switzerland. Everybody thought that these materials were lost, but, fortunately, in 2008, they reappeared in Switzerland wrapped between Catalan and French newspapers. The heirs of Rafael Patxot i Jubert sent them to Montserrat Abbey and Father Josep Massot Muntaner catalogued them, in the alphabetical order of the more than two thousand folders. Next, the Centre for Popular and Traditional Culture of the Catalan Government digitised the more than 40,000 cards. Thanks to an agreement between Montserrat Abbey and the Philological Section of the Institute of Catalan Studies, we are currently studying and transcribing these materials with the aim of publishing them on the Internet. The purpose of this work is to give an account of the stateof the project, as well as to explain the methodology applied and to show, in the first instance, how the computational programme containing the Aguiló Proverbs works.
