El pretèrit perfet d'indicatiu i el present de subjuntiu en el català del segle XVIII i inici del XIX

    Aquest treball, basat en el testimoniatge de textos redactats per catalans del Principat al set-cents i al primer terç del vuit-cents, estudia el procés de consolidació del perfet perifràstic anar + infinitiu i els antecedents del present de subjuntiu en -i. El corpus examinat permet concloure que la definitiva generalització de la perífrasi (ben documentada ja a l’edat mitjana) devia coincidir amb els anys de la Renaixença, i prova alhora la propagació gradual del present de subjuntiu en -ia, més accentuada a la Catalunya oriental que no pas a l’occidental. Als textos despullats la reducció -ia > -i és encara del tot excepcional.

    The present paper, based on the evidence provided by texts written by Catalans from the Principality of Catalonia in the 18th and in the first third of the 19th centuries, studies the process of the consolidation of the periphrastic perfect anar + infinitive and the antecedents of the present subjunctive in -i. The examined corpus allows the conclusion that the definite generalisation of the periphrasis (already well documented in the Middle Ages) has to have coincided with the years of the Renaixença, and at the same time tests the gradual propagation of the present subjunctive in -ia, more stressed in East Catalonia than in the western part of it. The reduction -ia >- i is still in its entirely exceptional in the analysed texts.
