Los aprendientes turcos presentan una resistencia general a emplear artículo en contextos en los que su uso es necesario, especialmente, el artículo definido.
Generalmente omiten el artículo definido o bien usan el artículo indefinido en su lugar.
En cuanto al uso del indefinido, éste presenta una mayor corrección, lo que se debe, probablemente, a que en turco usan un numeral, bir (uno), con unas funciones similares a las del artículo indefinido en español. El turco carece de un sistema de artículos como en español y su uso constituye un aspecto problemático en el proceso de adquisiciónaprendizaje de ELE. En este estudio se pone el foco en los errores más frecuentes en el uso del artículo como resultado de estrategias de aprendizaje utilizadas por el aprendiente en sus producciones.

Turkish students of the Spanish language are generally resistant to the use of the article in contexts in which it is necessary, particularly the definite article, which they generally omit, or use the indefinite article in place of the definite article. With regard to the use of the indefinite article, this requires additional pedagogical correction probably owing to the fact that the Turkish language uses a numeral, bir (one), which has similar functions to those of the indefinite article in Spanish. The Turkish language lacks an article system comparable to that of Spanish and its use presents a problem for Turkish students learning Spanish as a foreign language. This study focuses on the most frequently made errors in the use of the article found in learning strategies deployed by students.
