Resumen de La retórica de Vico y la nueva retórica

Este ensayo, inspirado por un destacado interés teorético, viene a constituir un intento de acercamiento entre Vico y el renacer contemporáneo de la retórica; cuya dimensión lógica y filosófica es de reciente apreciación. A la luz de la nueva retórica (v.g. Perelman), las contribuciones de las especulaciones jurídicas y retóricas de Vico adquieren una manifiesta relevancia. Además, se asume con ello una reivindicación de las Institutiones Oratoriae y de las Oraciones Inaugurales.

This paper, inspired by a striking theoretical interest, brings in a sort of approach between Vico and the contemporary new interest in rhetoric as it is displayed both in its logical and philosophical dimension. Under the new rhetoric¿s light (as may be seen in Perelman) Vico¿s legal and rhetorical contributions inherited a real importance. Besides, it is thus assumed one of the boldest claims which might be found both in the Institutiones Oratoriae and the Inaugural Orations.
