Resumen de Habitabilidad en favelas: Un análisis cualitativo en Curitiba – Brasil.

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar larelación entre precariedad en favelas con la ubicacióny el tiempo de esos espacios. Para eso, fueronutilizados datos recopilados por la ONG TECHO de22 asentamientos informales en diferentes zonasde la ciudad de Curitiba, haciendo posible un análisiscombinado de los datos, considerando variablesque impactan directamente en la condición de lahabitabilidad de esos lugares. Para hacer el cálculode grado de precariedad, fue desarrollada unametodología teniendo como base el Índice de PrecariedadHabitacional (IPHAB) de la ONG Peabiru,que consiste en atribuir valores para diez variables,dando como resultado una tabla comparativa quehizo posible la elaboración de un mapa donde sedestaca la ubicación de las favelas más precarias.

This article aims to analyze the relationship betweenthe precariousness of slums and the settingsand length of the occupations. Data collectedon 22 slums in different areas of Curitiba bythe NGO TECHO were used to compile an analysisof combined variables that interfere directlyin the livability of the identified settlements.The criteria used to calculate the degree of precariousnessin these areas were based on thePrecarious Housing Index (PHI), a methodologydeveloped by the NGO Peabiru based on ten differentvariables that permitted a comparativeassessment of these slums and the identificationon map of the ones considered most precarious.
