    El método clínico es quizás la herramienta médica más antigua que se conozca, constituye una categoría fundamental en las ciencias médicas y  el elemento formativo más importante para el aprendizaje, desarrollo y consolidación de habilidades en el campo de las profesión médica, por lo tanto constituye el método fundamental de enseñanza en el proceso docente educativo de la carrera de medicina, ya que su utilización como esquema formativo contribuye a consolidar su estudio y a la vez a estimular su implementación en la práctica médica diaria. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo fundamentar la importancia del método clínico como pilar fundamental en la enseñanza médica.

    The clinical method is maybe the oldest medical tool that is known, it constitutes a fundamental category in the medical sciences and the most important formative element for the learning, development and consolidation of abilities in the field of the medical profession, therefore it constitutes the fundamental method of teaching in the educational process of the medicine career, since its use like formative outline contributes to consolidate its study and at the same time to stimulate its implementation in the daily medical practice. This work has as objective to base the importance of the clinical method as fundamental pillar in the medical teaching.
