Resumen de Una sacra impresa por Juan Millán en el siglo XVI

La sacra tríptico es de madera compuesta por tres piezas que soportan un papel impreso pegado a las tres palas. El texto está impreso con la misma tipografía gótica que llevan los libros salidos del taller “Millán” de Zaragoza formado por Juana, Agustín, y Juan Millán, activo entre 1537-1577. La imprenta en los cuarenta años de actividad emplea la misma letrería, asunto que dificulta esclarecer a cuál de los tres impresores se debe atribuir la impresión y la fecha de publicación, para ello es necesario recurrir a las tres ilustraciones de la sacra para cotejarlas con los graba-dos insertos en los libros, en una exhaustiva búsqueda aparecieron las ilustraciones separadamente en tres libros fechados en l552, 1564, 1567.
Atendiendo a la última fecha de actividad de Juan Millán y al del texto ajustado a los textos litúrgicos emanados del Concilio de Trento en 1570, se concluye que el impresor de la sacra es Juan Millán activo todavía en 1577.

The sacra triptych is made of wood composed of three pieces that support a printed paper attached to the three blades. The text is printed with the same gothic typography as the books from the “Millán” workshop in Zaragoza for-med by Juana, Agustín, and Juan Millán, active between 1537 and 1577.
