  • Resumen
    • "Iphigeneia at Aulis" is set against the background of Euripides questioning of the fairness of war, at the time of the decadence and fragmentation of Hellas, as a result of the long civil war that destroyed cities, values and exposed all the repercussions of the evil actions of demagogues, the danger of people falling prey to manipulation due to their thirst for the wealth so easily obtained in wartime. The innocent are the victims. Panhelenism is a myth. Euripides employs several types of persuasive discourse _albeit without persuasive efficacy, they unmask characters, whether these are the speakers or the hearers_ in order to make that end of the century tension more lively
